Last year Merri surprised me on Father’s Day not with roses but 25 fresh Ecuador Lilies! I was thrilled at their beauty, aroma and endurance. Here are those Ecuador lilies in our home.
This year we purchased Ecuador Easter lilies. They were delivered April 8.
The Ecuador lily orders are of 25 stems but each stem has three or four buds… so the order delivers about 100 flowers! There are so many I had to put them in three vases where they were still going strong when I took these shots April 16 none days after delivery.
They are wonderful, fresh and they last!
Spme of the Easter lilies (though some have passed) are still looking good as I write this on April 23, 15 days after delivery.
Here is one of the three Ecuador floral arrangements six days after delivery, at the entrance to our home…
another on our fire place mantle and…
the third Ecuador lily arrangement in our dining area. The aromas were intoxicating!
Even three Ecuador lily arrangements left the vases crowded. I could have filled five or six vases.
Wonderful and beautiful.
We asked our flower supplier if he could deliver Ecuador Mother’s Day lilies and he wrote: The price for lilies is $68 per box. Each box has 25 oriental lilies. These are the bigger Easter lilies. We have pinks, pink bicolors and whites.
As with fresh Ecuador roses, we have added $19 to the price so 25 Ecuador Easter lilies is $87.
We will donate $20 to help Ecuador’s poor for each order. Just as we do with Ecuador roses… we lose a couple dollars on each purchase.
You can see why we are happy to donate this at Ecuador rose thanks.
Fedex will deliver them directly to you in the USA from Ecuador. We regret that due to customs difficulties. Fedex will not deliver them in Canada.
Open them. If you are not satisfied that these are truly remarkable lilies, give them back to the Fedex driver and let me know. I’ll give you a full refund.
To assure the refund you must inspect the flowers with Fedex when they are delivered. If you are not satisfied, they must be returned at the time of delivery.
I will forward your order to Roberto Ribadeneira, the rose plantation coordinator who will follow your order from the farm to your home. He will first email you to make sure you get the color choice you like best and coordinate your delivery time.
If you do not respond to the plantation to indicate a color choice and time, the flower growers will send the best available color combination for the first possible delivery.
As mentioned this is not a deal that helps my pocketbook. I am paying $60 to deliver these roses to you. I donate $20 to the charity. I pay my credit card discount. At the price we charge I am down two or three dollars for each 50 roses. That’s okay…the cause is worthy and Merri and I will be much richer in the heart.
We cannot accept Ecuador Mother’s Day lily orders after 12 noon Tuesday April 2,2009. Delivery will be May 5, 2009.
