  • Several haciendas for sale. Property broker Mark Burris has listed four haciendas, one located less than (15) miles from Quito, nestled between a small ridge of mountains. This hacienda, originally built in 1774, has been completely restored and includes modern amenities such as electricity, central heating, cable TV, telephone, alarm system, and a heated and covered swimming pool whirlpool sauna, a second kitchen, bar and fireplace for entertaining large groups of people. A modern (4) bedroom, (3) bath guest house has been added to the property, as well as a small chapel with antique doors and interiors, hand painted windows and ceilings. In the original house, the former attic was converted into (5) bedrooms, each with a full bath, walk-in closet and a private terrace overlooking the park, cobblestone patio, or eucalyptus forest, giving the original house a total of (7) bedrooms with (7) bathrooms. Located on approximately (28.6) acres of land, this hacienda is a unique and historical part of Ecuador's past. This hacienda has been painted by some of Ecuador's best known artists and used as scenario for movie productions, including one that was nominated for an Oscar.
